New Richmond is a city located in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 8,375 at the 2020 census.
The city was founded in 1856 and named after the city of Richmond, Virginia. New Richmond, Wisconsin, was settled in 1840. In 1856, the town was platted. It was incorporated as a village in 1876 and as a city in 1881.
