kaysville,UtahKaysville is a city in Davis County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Ogden-Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 31,464 at the 2020 census.

The city'Jesse Fox, Jr. home, located at 464 North 100 West, was built in 1847 and was one of the first houses built in the area. It was initially built as a single-room cabin, but as the Fox family grew, additional rooms were added. The home is now a museum.

Kaysville is located in the southeastern part of Davis County. It is bordered by Layton to the north, Syracuse to the west, and Farmington to the east. According to the United States Census Bureau, Kaysville has a total area of 10.6 square miles (27.2 square kilometers), all of it land.

In 1998, FrontierHomes started the Kaysville project, which opened in the summer of 2001. It contains six restaurants, a discount movie theater, and home decor shops, as well as office and medical space. Smith's Food and Drug, a grocery store, has been remodeled.

Historically, Kaysville has been a rural farming community, but today it has been recognized as a city and encompasses a variety of stores, including shops, restaurants, and a golf course. It has one of the oldest Livestock(sheep, goat, cow, pig, horse, racing, etc.) markets in Utah.

Many German immigrants settled in Kaysville in the late 1800s. Many of their descendants still live in Kaysville. Annual celebrations include Easter egg hunts, Fourth of July fireworks and a Mormon Monument, Pioneer Day (Utah state holiday, Kaysville Lion's Youth Fishing Event, a Christmas celebration, and a Kaysville BBQ at the Gazebo in June.

Main Street has been repaved, and the Kaysville City Council has been considering a name change.
