Located in the northwestern portion of South Carolina, USA, Berea is a tiny city. It is a component of the Greenville-Anderson-Mauldin, South Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area. At the time of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 14,158.

Berea was founded in the late 19th century and was originally known as "Berea Crossroads."
