According to the 2010 census, Ridley Park's population was 7,363, with 3,082 households and 2,069 families. The population density of Ridley Park is 4,011.2 people per square mile. The racial makeup of the township is 97.44% White, 1.56% Asian, 0.34% from other races, 0.65% from two or more races, 0.07% Native American or Alaskan Native, and 0.47% Black or African American. 0.47% were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 3,082 single-family homes in Ridley Park, or 96.6% of all residences in the city, while 137, or 4.5%, are apartment buildings. The average household size was 2.46, and the average family size was 3.17. Ridley Park has a public pool and skate park, with membership available to both residents and non-residents. William E. Miller (a.k.a. "Miller" or "Pop" to the lifeguards and regular patrons), and three other individuals unknown to me, founded Ridley Park Pool around 1959. Mr. Miller served as the pool's lifeguard supervisor and staff discipline enforcer from its opening until the summer of 1986, save for the summer of 1962, when he stayed away due to a salary dispute with the borough. Ridley Park Pool is a great summer hangout with a kiddie pool, an Olympic-sized pool, diving boards, water slides, a beautifully-equipped playground, and an outdoor amphitheater.
