West Haven-Sylvan is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Washington County, Oregon, in the United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 24,048. The community is located in the southwestern part of the Portland metropolitan area, just west of Beaverton.

West Haven-Sylvan, like the rest of the Portland metropolitan area, has a mild marine climate (Köppen climate classification Cfb), with mild, rainy winters and mild, dry summers. The hottest month is July, with an average high temperature of 78°F, while the coldest month is December, with an average low temperature of 35°F. The maximum temperature recorded in West Haven-Sylvan was 108°F on July 31, 1965, and the minimum temperature recorded was -4°F on January 10, 1880.

West Haven Sylvan's culture is shaped by its history, geography, and diverse populations. It has a strong sense of community, with several community events and festivals, including the West Haven Sylvan Fun Days, which takes place every July.

Inhabited by indigenous peoples for thousands of years, European-American settlers began arriving in the late 18th century. The city was named after Alexander Sylvanus, who built a home in the area in 1883. West Haven and Sylvan were two distinct communities that eventually merged. The post office in West Haven opened in 1885; in 1912, the entire area was incorporated as the city of Sylvan.
