Willoughby Hills is a city located in Lake County, Ohio, USA. As of the 2020 census, the population was 6,654.
One of the earliest settlements in the area was the Connecticut Western Reserve, and eventually, the area was named Willoughby after a village in England. In 1923, residents of the area petitioned the Lake County Court to incorporate as a village, and Willoughby Hills was officially born. By 1951, the town had grown enough to be declared a city, and the city of Willoughby Hills was officially recognized.

Willoughby Hills is located at 41°46'42"N 81°26'48"W (41.778315, -81.446721). According to the US Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 10.8 square miles (28 km²), of which, 10.6 square miles (27 km²) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km²) of it (1.67%) is water. It borders the neighboring cities of Eastlake, Willoughby, Wickliffe, and Highland Heights. It also shares a small border with the village of Gates Mills.

As of the census of 2010, there were 6,486 people, 2,648 households, and 1,874 families residing in the city. The population density was 603.5 people per square mile (233.3/km²). There were 2,850 housing units at an average density of 268.7 per square mile (103.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 94.9% White, 2.7% African American, 0.1% Native American, 1.3% Asian, 0.4% from other races, and 0.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.7% of the population. There were 2,651 households, out of which 29.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.2% were married couples living together, 11.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.3% were non-families. 26.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.43 and the average family size was 2.96.
In the city, the population was spread out, with 23.6% under the age of 18, 7.2% from 18 to 24, 25.3% from 25 to 44, 28.8% from 45 to 64, and 15.1% who were 65 years of age or older.
