Delaware is a city in and the county seat of Delaware County, Ohio, United States. According to the 2010 census, the population was 34,657.
The city of Delaware has a total land area of 21.97 square miles, and it is located at the confluence of the Scioto River and the Olentangy River. Delaware is part of the Columbus, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city is home to Ohio Wesleyan University and Methodist Theological School in Ohio.
