Manlius is a town in Onondaga County, New York, United States. The population was 32,779 at the 2020 census. The towns of Manlius and DeWitt border Syracuse to the south and east. Manlius was founded in 1813. The Name is derived from the surname of Marcus Tullius Cicero, a Roman statesman and orator, and was assigned by a clerk interested in classics.
Historical buildings still standing in the village include the First Baptist Church of Manlius, built in 1831, and the Martin H. Redmond House, built in 1826. Manlius has a diverse culture.
