Hillcrest is a hamlet in the town of Ramapo, Rockland County, New York, United States. It is located northwest of New York City and 30 minutes south of Montebello. The population of Hillcrest was 8,400 at the 2020 census. Hillcrest was established in 1940, within the town of Ramapo.
