East Massapequa is a hamlet in Nassau County, New York, United States. The neighborhood is located on Long Island, just east of Massapequa, and belongs to the Town of Oyster Bay. As of the 2020 census, the population was 8,373.

Cantiague Park, which was once the home to several Native American tribes, including the Massapequa Indians, is named after the Indian word "Cantiague," which means "buffalo." The area was sold to the Dutch in 1653 for a small sum of wampum beads.
