Catskill is a town in Greene County, New York, United States. The population was 3,741 at the 2020 census. The town is located in the northwestern part of the county and is situated around 150 miles northwest of midtown Manhattan and northwest of Albany.

Folk singer Joan Baez, who was six months pregnant at the time, performed on the final day of the festival.
