The 40-acre Lake Kittamaqundi, located at the heart of the downtown area, is a man-made lake designed for drainage management in the master plan of Columbia.

The Blandair Park Columbia Association, Inc. is a homeowners association that maintains the community park located in the Blandair neighborhood of Columbia, MD. The park includes a multipurpose field, multiple playgrounds, walking trails, a skate park, and several picnic areas. The Blandair Park Columbia Association, Inc. maintains and upkeeps the park through community fundraising efforts.

Columbia Association is the nonprofit organization that manages seven village community centers, the Columbia Art Center, Supreme Sports Club, and other facilities. It also runs weekday shuttle buses for seniors. Over the years, the association has added pools, tot lots, and community centers and renovated historic buildings.
