Morris is a city located in Grundy County, Illinois, United States. According to the 2020 census, the population was 13,716. It is situated around 13 miles southeast of Ottawa, the county seat, and 15 miles south of Streator. Incorporated in 1889, the city was named after J. H. Morris, who donated land for a railroad depot.Morris offers a wide variety of activities for all ages and interests.

Morris has several dining options, including world-famous Honey-Bee Café and Bakery, which serves delicious homemade meals and baked goods, and Bob’s Southside Truck Stop, which has been in business for more than 40 years.
