The City of Scottsboro is located in the northeastern region of Alabama, known as the Tennessee Valley, and is nestled in the mountains and valleys of the Appalachian Plateau. The area's mineral-rich soil and abundant water supply create synergy between agriculture and industry. The two forks of the Guntersville Lake are accessible by nearby marinas and provide excellent recreation opportunities. Conveniently situated off of Highway 72, seven miles west of Interstate 59, it is a short 35 miles to Huntsville, 35 miles to Guntersville Dam, 18 miles to Gunter's Landing, 20 miles to Arab, and 45 miles to Boaz.
